A beautiful Fall day, a few hardy souls still sitting outside on the patio. I haven't been doing much sketching at all for the past couple of weeks and I really must try to get back into the habit
People are very hard, for me at least, when I am trying to catch them unawares. They tend to move long before I am done.
You did a good job here. People are very hard to capture in a fluid environment. I find that a cartoon of the person is the best I can expect, which is ok with me.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is so important to continue to sketch and stay in touch with drawing quick renditions. I keep a sketch book in my bag, but seem to forget its there.
ReplyDeleteI looked through some of the postings I missed while being too busy with renovations. I really enjoyed the Mill paintings. I love the one with the stone. Its great seeing these local scenes.
