I did this a long time ago. I remember that I really enjoyed depicting it in watercolour because the leaves actually look as if they have been painted with overlapping washes of green and magenta. It was very easy to get the effect by just mimicking nature.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments on my blog. Its great to meet other artists from Southern Ontario. I agree with you that photos don't ever accurately portray a scene. I wish I had time to do some pein air painting, but my schedule just can't fit it in. I keep saying that before winter comes, I will take time and do a few. I enjoyed looking through your work, especially enjoyed the local scenes.
